Carolyn Yashari Becher is the CEO and Co-Founder of Pearline Health and is the Co-Founder of HopSkipDrive.

Since the inception of the Neuromuscular Disease Foundation in 2007, Carolyn has thoughtfully and generously guided and served NDF in a variety of critical ways: first as its General Counsel in its formation; then as its Executive Director; and subsequently as a Board Member, Board Chair, and most recently as Board Secretary.

It was under Carolyn’s leadership that an Honorary Dinner Committee was formed to engage the local community in NDF’s fundraising efforts and that the first international, collaborative meeting among scientists studying GNE Myopathy (then known as HIBM) took place in 2014 in Berlin, paving the way to allow for the growth and success that NDF has experienced with the benefit of her unwavering and dedicated guidance.

While Carolyn is stepping down from the NDF Board at the end of this year, she will, no doubt, as a member of the Founder’s Circle, remain a great source of support and knowledge for the organization’s present and future leadership.
